Getting started with Raynet
Raynet keeps things simple. At its core, it helps you stay on top of three essentials: who you do business with, what you're offering them, and everything you need to do to turn a friendly coffee chat into a paid invoice.
The three pillars Raynet is built on
Before jumping into buttons and toolbars, let's look at the big picture. Everything in Raynet revolves around three core pillars that structure your day-to-day sales routine:
The first pillar is the Contact Database. This is your central hub for all the accounts and contacts you work with.
Directly connected to that are Deals: your tracking system for what you're offering to whom, and where each deal stands.
The third pillar is your Calendar. This is where you schedule activities like meetings, tasks, and calls. Because they link directly to specific accounts and deals, nothing slips through the cracks, making it easy to turn that casual coffee meeting into a paid invoice.
Finding your way around the CRM
When you log in to Raynet for the first time, you'll see the Getting Started tab. It serves as your launchpad, packed with quick tutorials, setup tips, and direct access to our customer support. Plus, whenever you need support articles or walkthrough videos for whatever screen you're on, you can pull them up anytime using the handy support tab on the right side of the screen.
Once you've settled in, your default home screen becomes the Dashboard. It functions as your mission control, fully customizable with individual widgets, such as:
- Quick overviews: Today's activities, your individual performance, or the team Leaderboard.
- Deals: Visual sales pipeline, Sales development.
- Team: Active discussions, the message board, or teammates currently online.
- Smart features: Quick notes from your phone, bookmarks, or client birthday and anniversary reminders.
- Getting started: Learning Center with video tutorials.
The main menu in the left navigation bar takes you straight to the Calendar, Contacts, Deals, Quotes or Analyses with a single click. Every list view also features lightning-fast search: just type three letters and you're there.
Tip 💡: Press the Shift key twice to open global search. You can track down anything even with just a fragment of information (like part of a name or company) and immediately create a new Account, Deal, or Calendar Activity right on the spot.
No matter where you are in the app, the universal green "+" button is always within reach, letting you create new records instantly without losing your flow.
The top tab bar also keeps your workday running smoothly. Just like in a web browser, every record you open launches in a new tab. This lets you bounce between tasks without worrying about losing unsaved work. On top of that, you can easily organize open tabs into neat folders.
Finally, take a couple of minutes to check out Profile Settings. Upload a profile photo, fill in your details, and set your preferred language and currency. You can also fine-tune notifications, sync your email and personal calendar, or tweak other settings. It will save you a ton of busywork down the road.
That wraps up the introductory tour. Now that you know the lay of the land, let's take a closer look. Head over to the next video to see how to organize your contacts and make the most of the Contact Database. 🚀
