Chorizo Lab has three main pillars of business – automation & AI, application development, and hackathons.
Automation & AI
- We transform companies from the ground up to be ready for the AI era.
- First, we conduct an audit in the context of the business, its outlook and vision, customer processes, and team. This gives us a clear understanding of how the company operates, where it is heading, and what will bring it the most value.
- Then we work together on the audit outputs, which result in a roadmap of priorities. It depends on the company – some first need to establish data structures and flows, while others are already fully digital, so we move straight to automation & AI.
- We have the most experience with sales processes (lead collection and classification, preparation and creation of automated documents), financial processes and accounting (OCR, integrations with accounting and invoicing systems, etc.).
- We also explore AI agents, although they don’t always make sense (sometimes it’s more hype than reality). However, we can build them – whether it’s a sales agent or a knowledge base agent (internal documentation is often extensive and scattered across folders and clouds → we streamline this process and build a chatbot on top of it that searches through the documentation. This saves employees a significant amount of time).
- For us, automation and AI implementation must primarily make sense from an ROI perspective. We don’t implement anything that would cost a lot and bring no value or savings. For every such use case, we calculate the estimated benefit.
- Our biggest added value is delivering end-to-end solutions. We work with clients from process design and setup through to implementation and ongoing management.
Application development
- Our primary domain is web applications, which complement integrations and AI very well. We build PWAs using low-code technologies or, more recently, vibecoding, so delivering a final solution doesn’t take years or cost millions.
- We have experience with both internal portals and applications for end customers.
- Applications run in a browser and are responsive, meaning they adapt to the specific device they are viewed on (computer, phone, tablet).
AI hackathons (education)
- Our hackathons are tailored to each company and aim to advance employees’ digital and AI skills.
- They are primarily designed for office workers—from managers to individual team members—and aim to technically and analytically upskill employees so that you have higher-quality “talent” in your team :)
- They usually take place as 2–3 day events where participants work in pairs on a complex assignment. Typically, they build a simple web application without prior programming knowledge. However, it doesn’t have to be just an app—we customize everything to your needs.
As a result, participants gain:
- structured thinking, since application development is not so much about writing code as it is about planning steps and their sequence
- understanding of how databases and data structures work
- knowledge of how to design a visually appealing and user-friendly application
- hands-on experience with AI for creating app content (text, images), structure, etc. And also—because without it, the hackathon wouldn’t take 2 days, but a week :)
These hackathons are primarily designed for large companies, but if you are interested in something similar, we will be happy to prepare it for you.
