We have already discussed how to choose a CRM tool. And today we'll compare two very similar yet different CRM systems, Raynet and Pipedrive.
Raynet
Raynet is a popular CRM system, which grows along with its users. This makes it suitable for small, medium, and large companies.
It has been simplifying work for sales reps since 2004, when it was founded by four Czech IT guys with a love for programming and business. Intuitive design and powerful features to streamline sales processes are the alpha and omega of Raynet. As a customer relationship management software company, they place a huge emphasis on a pro-customer approach.
Pipedrive
Pipedrive is a popular and user-friendly CRM system that is a great choice for small to medium-sized businesses. It was founded in 2010 by four Estonian businessmen who were not satisfied with any of the solutions available at the time. They created an easy-to-use visual platform to help users streamline their sales processes. Since 2020, Pipedrive is owned by the US investment fund Vista Equity Partners.
Pipedrive and Raynet are very similar to each other. Both CRM tools are designed primarily for B2B sales reps, and their goal is to simplify the entire sales process. That’s why you will find many similar features in both systems. Management of contacts, deals, and activities are a given.
Check out the overview of features and the price comparison of both CRM platforms below:

Pipedrive also offers additional features that you can add to the basic subscription. Paid add-ons in Pipedrive include, for example, LeadBooster and Visitors for working with leads. If you want to unlock all features, you will need to pay extra.
Pipedrive is a great solution for individuals and smaller teams. Users consider the simple management of deals and pipelines to be one the best features. But they also sometimes state that the system fails to adapt to the growth of the company.
Sometimes the list of contacts or deals is slower to open, it takes longer to load a record detail or the page gets stuck when switching between fields. This disrupts the flow of work and makes Pipedrive rather unsuitable for large teams.
Switching to another solution because of sudden loading problems can be costly and time-consuming. Even as a small company, keep an eye on the CRM software parameters that are important for large companies - especially if you plan on growing in the future.
Raynet adapts to any stage of growth, you can use it as a small or large team - just add more features. Loading is stable even with large amounts of data.
If you want to get the cheapest plan to test out whether you can fit into it, go for it. With Raynet, you don't even have to commit for a year just to pay less. Whether you choose annual or monthly payments, the cheapest START plan is always priced at CZK 390 per user per month.
Since Raynet has three pricing plans in total and Pipedrive offers five, we decided to compare what you get in the middle plan Professional from Raynet (890 CZK / user / month) and the plan closest in price, Advanced from Pipedrive (1,000 CZK / user / month). We only compare the features offered by both systems in at least one of the plans offered:

User experience (UX) is crucial for understanding the whole system and the speed of work itself. It is influenced, for example, by the loading speed of the system, the placement of buttons, or the availability and quality of customer support.
Pipedrive is a great tool for simple information recording and moving deals through the pipeline. However, users sometimes complain that as more features are added, so are new buttons and menus, which are not placed intuitively.
Raynet struggled with a similar problem before it underwent a complete transformation years ago. The design team focused on intuitive placement of all features while redesigning it. This makes it immediately clear to the user where to click to perform the desired action.
💡 Tip
Since UX is very subjective, we recommend focusing on it when testing the systems. Neither the reviews nor the tutorials tell you how good of an experience you will have while using the software. CRM systems usually offer free demo versions to try - for example, try creating a new meeting with a client in the calendar and see how working with each system feels and which one is more user-friendly for you.
Worth mentioning is Raynet’s tab system. If you want to go back to a record or compare two records, you don't need to have a bunch of tabs open in your browser. Everything you work on in Raynet is done on tabs directly in the application, in just one browser tab. This keeps your work well organized. The robust CRM system Salesforce works on the same principle.
If the visual aspect of software isn't your cup of tea, that's fine. But some people prefer to work only in a system with an interface they like. If you're one of them, check out the examples of what Pipedrive and Raynet look like when they already have some business data added to them.
Immediately after logging in, you will see a dashboard on Raynet’s homepage with panels that you can customize – for example, you can add your favorite links, an overview of open deals, upcoming activities, or active user discussions about specific records.
Once you log in to Pipedrive, you will see your list of deals and can start selling right away.
Customer care is not just about giving advice. If you encounter a problem or are missing a feature in Raynet, mention it to customer support and you can be sure that your feedback will make its way to the developers, as Raynet is a smaller company that has more time for each customer. Also because support and devs sit next to each other in one office.
Another advantage of in-house customer support is that, thanks to constant contact with the developers, they can quickly answer all your questions so you can get on with your work as soon as possible
This choice is very subjective, both CRM tools are definitely at a high level and meet most sales needs.
A big plus for Raynet is the fact that for the same price, customers get more features. We believe that Raynet is a better fit for established companies that already have a stable client base. The simplicity, customization options and less technical design provide a better working environment for both salespeople and managers in the long run.
