HESTI is a key player in the heavy-duty vehicle market in the Czech Republic and Europe. It is a dealer for MAN trucks and also acts as an importer for renowned brands KRONE and D-TEC. Operating since 1991, it offers clients comprehensive services from sales to maintenance and spare parts. It also operates its own production of bodies for commercial vehicles.

Sales reps with tablets, but without a mobile CRM

Unlike many other companies, HESTI avoided managing their business in Excel spreadsheets. They had been successfully trading using a CRM since 2007, and everything worked even as their team grew to 35 sales representatives. Year by year, however, the system lagged behind until they began to miss features critical for today’s business.

he system was quite outdated. We lacked simple analytics, planning, or deal tracking. Even the visual side wasn't exactly modern, and sales reps were getting lost in the interface.

The biggest impulse for change came when the sales team received tablets for field work from management. They discovered they couldn't work with them because the old CRM did not have a mobile application. This led HESTI to the decision to switch to a modern solution in 2022, which became Raynet.

A simple CRM that sales reps fell in love with

After switching to Raynet, working with client data and business cases became significantly simpler. Sales reps praise the clarity and intuitive work within the CRM. Compared to the older system, they can complete tasks with half the clicks and always know where to find the client directory, calendar, and analytics.

From the features, the sales team most values Business Cases (Deals). Since they couldn't systematically track orders in the previous system, Raynet opened up many new possibilities for them.


For example:

  • For each business case, they see its complete history, which shows everything on one page – from communication with the client to contracts and information about when the last service took place.
  • From each business case, they can quickly click through to all important technical documents.
  • In business cases, they can record any data they need by adding their own custom text fields.

A great advantage for us is also better work organization. Raynet ensures that no one forgets anything. For example, when I open Raynet in the morning, a dashboard with tasks immediately pops up, and I know what’s ahead of me today. Plus, I receive an email every morning with a summary of tasks.

Analytics for management, a field tool for sales reps

The new modern CRM has also become a favorite of the company's management. Thanks to simple analytical tools, they have an overview of what is happening in the company and the business. Financial outlooks for the coming months and data for important decisions are quickly at hand.

The management was literally thrilled with the analytics in Raynet. They can easily view, for example, overviews within sales funnels, where they see how many deals are before closing or what volume of money is currently in play.
