Customer stories
The sales and underwriting team at Direct used to live in shared Excel files. It was slow, messy, and even the most careful people made mistakes. It was clear this couldn’t go on. That’s why they implemented Raynet CRM. Suddenly, underwriters have all customer data in one place — clear, structured, and ready to be used for insurance work.
Direct insurance is a modern insurance company that has been providing simple and easy-to-understand coverage without unnecessary bureaucracy for over 15 years. The company focuses on car, property, and business insurance, building its reputation on fast processing, a fair approach, and communication free of complicated insurance jargon. Customers benefit from transparent terms, straightforward contracts, and support when they truly need it.
At Direct’s corporate insurance department, two key teams work closely together: sales representatives, who bring in new business, and underwriters, who prepare the insurance policies based on the provided documentation. Before implementing a CRM system, both teams relied on a shared Excel spreadsheet to track clients and opportunities.
We all wrote business case data into the spreadsheet. It often happened that we overwrote data or forgot to record it. This created inaccuracies and caused stress.

They spent a long time searching for a more efficient solution, until their former Sales Director discovered Raynet. He quickly realized it was the ideal choice for a modern insurance company that wants to keep its client data perfectly organized.
3 Problems the CRM was meant to solve
3 Key requirements for the new CRM
During implementation, they needed to transfer as much client data as possible from Excel to Raynet. The goal was to ensure that both salespeople and underwriters could see all client information in one place — including the full customer history from before Raynet was introduced.
A smooth CRM rollout was also supported by our consultant, Štěpán, who guided the Direct team through all the key features and smart tips that now make working in Raynet much easier.
When we switched from Excel to Raynet, it felt perfect that everything was in one place. I open one page, and all the information I’m looking for about a client is there, and no one can overwrite it.

At Direct, they also appreciate how easily Raynet can be tailored to their needs. Each team works with the CRM in a slightly different way, so they can customize their dashboards and page layouts to access key information as quickly as possible. An administrator can prepare a base interface for individual teams, which each user can then fine-tune to suit their own workflow, for example, by pinning the clients they are currently working with directly to their main dashboard.
The underwriting team at Direct works closely with materials provided by the sales team, which is why they most often use the Deals feature. For each deal, underwriters can find all documents and the complete communication between brokers and clients in one place. The deal history is displayed as a timeline, giving underwriters a clear overview of every activity related to the deal.
Thanks to this, all the information needed to correctly set up insurance policies is available on a single page. No switching between spreadsheets and documents. Underwriting work becomes faster, smoother, and more accurate.
Personally, I would recommend Raynet to every company. Because everyone needs to know what’s going on in order to move forward. Without basic analytics and a solid structure, nobody would get anywhere.
