Why are we changing it?
At RAYNET, we are a bit obsessed with a great user experience and the Kaizen method, i.e., gradual improvement. That's why we started upgrading 3 parts of our CRM software, carefully tested them out with a number of early adopters (once again, a big thank you to everyone who signed up for testing and helped us catch the bugs 🪲) and now we bring them to everyone. 🎉

Tl;dr:
- We have completely reworked the graphics. The new look is more modern, clear, and easier to read. 👀
- We added the option to create notes for each record #ColorfulNotesForAll 🙂
- … And everything else simply got a new look (discussions, tables, lists, attachments, etc.). 🆕
Let's take a closer look at what has changed, moved, and improved. ⬇️
Products
We've moved the most important things, so they are the first thing you come across. Immediately see, for example, the name of the product, its price, VAT rate, or costs.
In the panel below, you can track the Classification in Price Lists, Product Sales History, or Product Customers.
The entire right side has also undergone a change, and is now much better organized. Easily add a product image or attachments, change the category, add a tag, or look at your sales.
Notes
Notes are a completely new feature. You can add notes to each product to add important context, as well as color-code each note for easier navigation.
Price Lists
The Price Lists section has also gotten the same facelift as Products. Keeping it simple and straightforward, we added color-coded categories, tags, and notes.
Documents
Third time’s the charm – Documents. We've improved the navigation, and working with files is a lot faster.
Information about individual files and folders and record details are now much clearer. You can sort files by size or by when they were last modified, for example, or verify the owner of the file right away. The new side panel makes it easy to edit the title, upload a new version, or add a tag.
Folder-level navigation has also been improved. You can see the path through the folder structure clearly and even if your folder structure is as deep as the Mariana Trench, you won't get lost. 🙂
What we're really excited about (and we believe you will be too 😉), is the option to connect Google Drive directly to RAYNET.
If something doesn't seem right at first, you can simply switch the appearance of Products and Price Lists to the previous layout. This will be possible for the next few weeks.
We know that there are a lot of changes. But you don't have to worry… There will be many more. 😀 We will gradually change the design of RAYNET’s other sections as well, and we will definitely finish at least Activities by the end of the year.
